Do you have a cherished Walkman that you would like to see ‘reborn’? We are offering a repair service of Sony Walkman, Dictaphones and all other makes of portable cassette players
As standard we will inspect your Walkman and we will clean all switches and volume controls (so if you are having issues with a crackly volume control this clean will normal fix this).
We will also advise you of any other work that is required – normally the drive belt(s) can stretch or disintegrate with age and will also need replacement. The price of these can vary from each make and model (some even use two belts) so we always quote separately for the supply of the most suitable quality replacement drive belt. Fitting is covered by the service price

What’s included?
The listed price includes:
An inspection of your item
Clean of all switches and volume control
Pinch roller and capstan clean
Full retest after reassembly
Return postage
If further repairs are required (such as belt replacement) this will be quoted separately. We do not include a belt replacement with our standard repair fee by default as this work may not always be necessary.
How does it work?
Upon purchase of this service we will contact you with details so you can ship us your item for repair (at your own expense).
Once we have inspected and serviced your item we will contact you to advise if any additional work is required to complete the repair (no repairs will be commenced until paid in advance)
Your serviced item will be returned to you using Royal Mail Tracked 48 with Signature
